Step-by-step:

Sit down with legs stretched out straight place both hands above in Namaskar position. Bend slowly and touch the feet with hands. Now gently bend the head downwards with face resting on the legs .
 Repeat this 3 times.

It makes the muscles of the waist and buttocks healthy.
It reduces the extra fat in the stomach.

It gives relief from obesity,constipation and acidity.

It has an influence on all the parts of the abdomen and cures all ailments of these parts like diabetes etc. It also improves the working of the kidneys,liver,clam.

It massages all the parts of the waist and makes them light that is why it is very beneficial for women with problems of reproduction.

It circulates fresh blood in the nerves and muscles of the spine.

It gives relief from all problems of the backbone.
Aasan has a magical influence on the nerves of the brain and cures all mental tensions. It is particularly beneficial in preserving mental balance.

From the traditional to the modern way, this Aasan has been believed to be very important .All the ancient books on Yoga have given it in the utmost importance.



Note:


This is a very important Aasan .But people suffering from sciatica,pain in the joints, back pain or abdominal problems should not do this Aasan.
